Finding that off-the-shelf tools do not always meet its needs – or those of its clients – CEIS has also designed and developed its own tools : OWL Watch (Internet monitoring tool) and OWL Desk (collaborative watch solution).

OWL Watch is an Internet monitoring tool. It picks up changes in web pages, discussion forums and mailing lists and sends alert messages to one or more users. The system includes a collaborative layer allowing a person to subscribe to alerts configured by others.

OWL Desk is a groupware solution offering teams or watch networks a collaborative working environment. It enables watchers and analysts to take part in watch projects and share information gathered automatically from electronic sources or entered in records. It offers many alert and notification functions allowing users to monitor the team's work in real time.
