Since it was founded, CEIS has set up an extensive network of external correspondents, academics, financial analysts and other experts to add to its in-house team's efficiency. This network can now be called upon for a ready response in most areas of the world.

CEIS is a stakeholder in international consortia and works with a number of think tanks.

In Europe, for example, CEIS is a member of the ESTO (European Science and Technology Observatory), a network of organisations associated with the Joint Research Centre's (JRC) Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (IPTS). As such, it contributes to the forecast studies carried out by the IPTS, alongside its main European counterparts or specialised partners, like the Fraunhofer Institute (a specialist in nanotechnologies) or the CNB, Spain's National Centre for Biotechnology. CEIS and Asia Centre have worked hand in hand to present a joint offer called Asia Risk. Lastly, CEIS has forged close ties with several leading think tanks in the United States.
